Summer Internship Opportunity

Plantpeddler is a major young plant producer distributing leading floriculture genetics throughout the United States and finished product throughout the upper Midwest.

We are seeking a summer intern to assist in establishing and maintaining our extensive trial gardens, helping with the summer special outreach events showcasing the trials, and recording plant characteristics throughout the growing season to develop a report on each variety and write an article to be published in a trade publication.

The intern will experience many other facets of operations at an active wholesale greenhouse depending on interest, talent, and need. Greenhouse processes during this time that the intern would help with include sticking poinsettia cuttings and planting fall crops.

.The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for floriculture, an eagerness to learn new things, and an ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to evaluate, and keep good records.

Plantpeddler provides a stipend and housing. Deadline for application is April 1 with decision announced April 30.
